OUR JOURNEY

More than 1000 people contributed their time, energy and creativity to the Tartu 2024 bid book by the end of Summer 2019. We are very thankful to all of you.

In addition to forums, round tables, focus groups, expert interviews and open calls we collected great ideas at numerous public events, the Estonian National Museum, Genialistide Klubi, the Widget Factory, and many outdoor spaces. Scroll down for an overview of our 2019 events!

In 2020 we've entered a new phase of preparations and implementation that will bring along many new participation opportunities, meetings, discussions and joint activities in Tartu and Southern Estonia!

Presentation of Tartu 2024 bid book's title "Arts of Survival" and public discussion in Genialistide klubi in March 2018.

"Escape Room to the Future" Vision Conference in the Estonian National Museum in May 2018.

Public discussion "New and Old Disctricts" in Rahinge in June 2018.

Tartu 2024 secret stages, building a community greenhouse from recycled windows and kids' drawing area at The Widget Factory Festival in September 2018.
